I have to admit, while the sisters are fun to draw because they are beautiful, drawing the inspector's face is twice as much fun. There is just so much visual interest to play with in his craggy, whiskered face. So you can imagine that this page has been something I've looked forward to for a very long time... well 18 weeks. But who is counting?
