Prologue P06

Greetings Readers! 

I really need to come up with a cool thing to call my readers. Something that embodies the spirit of the comic. I shall have put my mind to this...

But this week we learn those running feet belonged to this dirty little kid. And I have no idea what denomination that yang coin is worth... but it apparently was enough to get our little rascal to fetch the local Yangban. Our greasy fat little local Yangban.

I hope you guys are having as much fun on our journey as I am. This week your pageviews eclipsed the 1,000 mark and for that I'm excited. Sure that's an extremely low threshold in the total scheme of things. But still... for me it was a big deal. Thanks for stopping by. For serious!

Some General Housekeeping

As mentioned last week, we're now on a page a week. I already feel like this has improved the quality of the work. I'm actually happy with more than one panel this week. I love that last one... the fat Yangban, our mysterious traveler... both rendered exactly how I imagined them.

Additionally I'd like to point your attention to "The Week" link in the upper right hand corner of the blog. If you're curious what I read, or looking for other comics to check out then that's the place to look.

And lastly I've added an email list signup just below "The Week". The idea is that there will be updates sent to the mailing list that are exclusive to mailing list readers (in addition to reminders to check out the page etc.). I'm not entirely sure how I'll use the list yet. At present it's got a single member and I feel goofy sending announcements to a single user. So let's see if we can fill it up a little.
